CANAJOHARIE HIGH SCHOOL 1924-2001
The high school was built in 1924 to better handle the expanding student population causing challenges for the West Hill School. Classes through 1999 were all proudly known as “the Redskins”, a mascot chosen to honor our rich Native American Indian heritage. A new high school was erected in 2001 and decisions were made to re-brand school’s mascot to “the Cougars”. The last class to graduate from her majestic halls was the class of 2001.
